Creativity Inspired Retreat Days

MUSIC,WATER &COLOUR – Creativity Inspired Retreat

Saturday, 12th December, from 9.45am to 3.30 pm

Monk’s guest house, Monastery of Christ our Saviour,
Jacks Lane, Turvey, MK43 8DH

Following the success of our first Creativity Inspired Retreat  since lockdown I’m delighted to be able to invite you again to another Day at Turvey Monastery.

The Creative Activity

MUSIC, WATER & COLOUR led by me, Johan

We will be using acrylic inks to make free flowing colour filled marks, shapes by just using water : water drops, tray of water, water spray and Paper. From your adventures with the ink and water you can then choose your favourite piece/pieces to make greeting cards &/or one piece to be framed. All materials will be supplied including blank cards.
No previous art experience necessary just a willingness to take part.

Keeping You Safe

To reassure you that your safety is one of our key priorities, this is the feedback from our last day in September:

The Creativity Retreat Day organised at Turvey was wonderful. So much thought had gone into both the content of the day and the practicalities around Covid. There was plenty of room and ventilation, and I felt completely relaxed knowing that the environment we were in was safe for me and the other participants”

“The event at the Monastery was very well organised to be Covid safe, I would be happy to attend a similar event as I felt totally safe and had a great day”

“. . . spacious space, all individually packed equipment , the one way procedures….I felt very safe and clean knowing it’s all part of the Monastery’s love and care”

Please let me know a.s.a.p if you’d like to attend. IF NUMBERS EXCEED THE SAFETY LIMIT  WE ARE HAPPY TO ORGANISE ANOTHER DAY/S FOR THIS ACTIVITY OR THE PREVIOUS ONE (Meditation and landscape)

Please download the safety guidelines to keep us all safe, the time table and what you will need to bring with you plus booking form:–

Please do not hesitate to ring me 07900864674 or email me if you wish to ask questions regarding the environment or the activity.

We still will be occupying space in the monks guest house and those who have been before will notice a few changes to the time and arrangements e.g. packed lunch. As we can’t supply a cooked meal at this time, the cost for the day has been reduced to £30.00. Please email me for a booking form and to confirm your place.

Best wishes Johan
