Car Parking is via the first drive on left in Jack’s Lane. Please note that Jacks Lane is used by wide vehicles.

CREATIVE RETREAT DAYS 2025
Each day consists of a group of 10-12 like-minded people.
( No previous experience is necessary. )
There is unlimited tea and coffee on tap and a home-cooked vegan and gluten free lunch.
The day begins at 9-45 am, with a welcoming cuppa and ends around 4.00
( We will join together for a short Mass if desired.)
After lunch we have a short period of meditation after which you can either continue the morning’s activity or spread the time in a way which you feel you need … possibly a walk or some quiet time.
Cost for the day is £50 and includes all the materials and refreshments.

CREATIVE RETREAT at TURVEY Monastery

JANETTE GAGGINI
Having retired from a career in Horticulture and Plant Science Research I chose to pursue my life long interest in active art creativity.
I enjoy working with different forms of artwork such as Painting, Printing, Drawing and Conceptual 3D Sculpture/Assemblages, including Kinetic, Sound and some Video applications.
Found Object Media is also used mainly to express my thoughts regarding modern life issues and environmental concerns.
I respond to organic form within my art style. This aspect is linked to my previous work with plant life.
We like to start with a coffee around 9.45 and begin our work around 10. Usually we break for a short mass, or walk and rest if desired. Vegitarian Lunch is served around 1.00.
After lunch we generally have a short meditation together; as you feel. Continue with our art and then finish around 3.30 for tea and cake and review our work.
