Safeguarding Policy

The community of Benedictine Monks at The Monastery of Christ Our Saviour, Turvey offers hospitality to people of every faith and none. Their life of prayer and service stems from their call to God to love God and love their neighbour. St. Benedict, echoing Christ calls each member of the community to love, respect and value each other and all their guests.

The community recognises the absolute necessity of ensuring the protection of all whom they serve. This means that all monks who are in any kind of ministry obtain clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service. They are committed to implementing the policies and procedures of the Catholic Safeguarding Advisory (CSAS).
